The end of our 31 days of Fall Inspiration!

Well, this is it. This is  the last day of Fall Inspiration. Wow, in some ways it has been a long 31 days and then it does seem to have gone quickly!
Today as I was shopping at TJ Max I found this Joy sign and I knew it wa the right color for my dining room. You have seen this hutch before, it normally is on my back porch but for the Holidays I thought it would make a nice change. And besides, I am moving some of my furniture as I prepare for Christmas. The O is made of burlap. I know that some of you could easily make this as a DYI project.

I pulled out my bottle brush trees and tossed them onto the shelves along with my new Santa. This is not the way this will be decorated but it looked so awful empty.

And as a special blessing, one of my cousins made this squirrel for me and I am so in love with him. He is just the cutest ever and will become a great fall decoration for years to come. She also gave me a scissor thank you so much!
And I want to thank all of you for following along all month and of course to my new followers I am so humbled and blessed by each of you!
I will continue to post but honestly my focus will be on my Christmas decorating since this year I am swamped and have to do what I can as I have the time. So follow along as we journey together and comment as you will....I will be back tomorrow with a picture of the furniture switch and 2 new pieces!

Starting To Prepare for Another Holiday Change

Well, the weather outside is frightful!!! But we are warm and toasty inside. I am praying for all those that have had devastation from Sandy. We are so fortunate to be safe. It is windy and cold and snowy but so far all is well.
I found this cute snowman on our garage sale site and I thought I had a place for it so off I went to purchase it...and it is so cute!

I found this sheep at a local shop and I knew it was perfect for our first Christmas in our revamped living room. It is perfect for a white living room. So today is our first snowfall..not a lot of snow but still slippery. I am going to spend the morning cleaning and putting all the Halloween away...I am dreaming of our Christmas decorations and Christmas music and get the picture.
We always have our tree and decorations up before Thanksgiving. Really I do this for two reasons...One that is when most of my family is in my home for the Holiday season and two, I love Christmas and I try to enjoy it for as long as I can. Now you know why I put out my Halloween and Thanksgiving decorations out at the same time...because they come down at the same time too! Well, I am off to enjoy my day and I will be reading your blogs later today!

Random Inspiration for Fall

We had a large family gathering that led to loads of fun. Beautiful weather, lots of food, pop corn over an open fire and even horse rides...what a day we had! The drive was so beautiful with all the fall leaves.
And then I visited my Aunt and she is making puppies out of work socks...they are just darling!
Then I got inspired from this pictured in a magazine. I love these colors together!

And this is my new inspiration...I am going to try to figure out how to make this...I hope I can find something on the web to help...I am making my list of decorations for Christmas....Be safe with the storm that will be raging outside. I am praying for all of you. I am hoping that here in Ohio it is not as bad as they are predicting!

Thanksgiving cupboard/Fall Inspiration

We decided to change out the cupboard a little early. We put away the Halloween items and added some things for Thanksgiving. But to be honest, I wanted to go straight to Christmas but my daughter said she would gather the things for Thanksgiving so this is her rendition of our Thanksgiving cupboard!

Christmas House...

Yesterday I picked up a few items that were more Christmas than Fall but I decided to tuck them into the decorations just because they make me smile. We found them at the Christmas House new Dunkirk, Ohio and just a short drive from The Enchanted Forest!

I know you can't see the print too well but this sheep and her lamb was so fabulous. I was going to buy them but my sister go to them first.
I couldn't resist this teddy and I thought it was a perfect fit in my new chair.

This Santa will go perfectly in my living room once my fall items are gone.

Discovering New Shops! Fall Inspiration

My cousins and sisters  and I spent the day together laughing and talking and discovering a new shop!

If you are ever near Dunkirk, Ohio you will have to stop on the side street and check this little shop out.

It is warm and homey and the owner is so friendly! She has original patterns and great prices.

But give yourself plenty of will want to look at everything twice.
