Primitve crow table runner completed

I have been working on this primitive table runner for about 2 weeks. It didn't take me that long to stitch it, I just haven't worked very hard on completing it. A dear friend actually bought this pattern and wool thinking that she would learn how to make it. After several years she decided that she wasn't going to attempt it and she gave it to me. It is so beautiful that I feel a little guilty keeping it. I adore it. This is a picture of it laying on my kitchen table. The thread looks shiny in the picture but it isn't at all in really life.
I am thinking of making another one in fall colors and change the design a little. by the way this desgn is from Backyard Quilts and it is called Three Old Crows. It is 12 by 39 so it is quite large.
I couldn't seem to get a good picture of the entire thing but I think you get the idea.

Dianntha, this is gorgeous! I made an appliqued Halloween wall hanging a few years back out of wool felt and trust me, I know the time that goes into it. I decided when I finished it, I was never going to see it because it would probably fetch $30 for hours and hours of thumb-poked sewing!

Yours is lovely ♥
