Yet another pumpkin!

How about another pumpkin that is quick and easy??? No, not the one on the left the ones on the right.
I found a round plate for the larger ones and traced in onto a scrap piece of material. With wrongs sides together sew it just leaving a small section open to turn and stuff. Next hand sew it shut.
Now thread some dmc floss that is similar to the color of your pumpkin and start at the bottom of the pumpkin and pull your needle all the way through the top of the pumpkin. draw it so in pulls the material in .now pull thread around to the bottom and come back up through the center of the pumpkin. Each time move the thread around the pumpkin  so it creates the veins. When you have enough sections to suit you tie it off on the top of the pumpkin. I went outside and picked up a few sticks and hot glued them into the center which covered up the knot. I am so sorry that I do not have pictures of the process but you get the idea.  I did coffee stain mine to make them look old.
Another bowl with the sweater pumpkins on my back porch!
Both are so easy!!! If you make one send me a picture!!!
Just so you know, my daughter glued the crown on the above pumpkin so she would know which one was hers!! She is a gem! Now how is that for whimsy?
