Small change...big impact!

Saturday, when my dh got home from work I somehow convinced him to take off the spindles on top of our cabinets. Well, his 5 minutes of work made a huge impact on my kitchen. The 80's are gone...hurray. Of course being conservative, he saved all the pieced just incase we want to put them back up someday....not!!!!
Again, this is what they have been since we moved here. I am not sure why I did not think to remove them until now.
Well, there you have it. I know there isn't much to share but I am just getting started but I can only work in short periods of  time because there is just so much going on. So far now, that it is...enjoy your
Sunday.

i like it better without the spindles. it looks uncluttered .
can you take off the little one above the tv?( i think its a tv anyways).
so, whatcha going to put up there?
i talked my mom into switching hers around up there. she had lots of fou- fou stuff going on. :) now, its pottery bowls, crocks and some vintage graters. :)

That does look real good. I love little inexpensive changes that make a huge difference.

Looks much better without the plate rail. All of your changes in the previous posts are wonderful.

Don't you just love when a makeover costs nothing? I love the stream line. I had cabinets just like those before we remodeled a few years ago. Weren't those spindles hard to clean? I hated them!

It's not a make-over it's a make-UNDER!

Sometimes less really is more and it looks fantastic.

I don't think I ever would have thought of that - so kudos to you!
