Stormy again and ramblings

Hello there. I have spent the week in Florida with my parents. Dad had hip replacement surgery and is doing well. It was nice to see him trying to get back on his feet and to be there with mom for a few days too. They seem to be doing well but tired. I will be happy when he is back to normal...well...normal means that he and I have projects to work on when he gets back to Ohio.
I did visit your blogs while I was away but there wasnt much to blog about so I was quiet...but I am back and ready to get started...so look out.
Yes, we did get the winter storm last night. I am guessing 8 inches...maybe a little more but it is still winter in Ohio so this is what it is... I am tired of winter but I am not ready for spring and all the work that it brings so I am happy to be inside nice and warm. I did put up a few pics of our sidewalk. I wanted to get a few more but my camera didn't work too well in the cold and blowing snow.

Made a little more progress on Thomas. I would like to finish him soon so I can move on to something else. So many of you have such wonderful projects going and I really enjoy seeing them in progress. I have started a list of projects I want to start too. This coming week I will start the hall closet and then I will be able start something larger....taxes!!!! lol Yuck...

The shovel got buried..guess someone should have put it in the garage!!!lol

We can't make it too far on the sidewalk...got to get the girls to help shovel it while the sun is shining.

We made a path so we can get to the cars for church tomorrow...it didn't take very long. The wind is still blowing but not as bad as earlier this morning. We have called the neighbor to plow out the driveway but I am sure we are on a very long list.

Well, for now that is it...but I will be back soon....be blessed.

Hi Dianntha!....glad to hear your Dad is getting back on his feet. We got about 6 inches of snow here in Central Virginia today and I'm with you, not ready for spring, but for me it's because I despise and am deathly afraid of bugs so needless to say, spring is my least favorite season!

You mentioned taxes which is a bad word to my ears, yuck!!

Gee, Dianntha, you got back from Florida just in time for a whopper of a snow storm. Glad your dad is doing well. We here in my part of PA got well over 20 inches of snow. It was a bit overwhelming.

Glad your father came through the surgery great...he'll feel so much better for having it.
One of these days it's going to be me...but I keep holding off.

Thomas is very nice - wow, the work in that pattern!

Your snow pictures are just beautiful....I love the snow photos but like you...READY FOR SPRING. Although we do have a good month and a half that could bring more snow....ARGGGGHHHHH!

Dianntha - it's amazing that we live so close to each other - maybe 1 1/4 hours(?) and we hardly got any snow at all! I know that Defiance/Lima game was cancelled on Friday night due to the amount of snow you were getting south of us. Hope you have stayed warm. ~Ann
