more touches of fall

To all those people who lost loved ones on 911... These brave people will never be forgotten. I know I had a knot in my stomach this morning when I was thinking about all the children who lost parents and others who lost spouses that are in my prayers.

This is a quilt wall hanging that I made a few years ago and I finally got it out of the fall decorations and onto the wall. It is hanging in our computer/family room. There is a china cabinet on the right and a window on the left.

I have quite a large space about out television and I always am looking for something to fill in the gaps so when I found this old crock jug at an auction recently I decided to put a few sunflowers in it and make it useful again. I actually had the jug in my flower garden this summer...but it looks better in the livingroom where I can enjoy it.

I wanted to share another pic of dh at the fair...the last one wasn't really that good and I wanted you to see how handsome he is...LOL We did have a lovely time afterwards.
