And the Wall Came Tumbling Down!

Dear Friends, This is just one of the many projects we have been working on. This stone wall is so beautiful  but it is a lot of work when you have a cave-in, which we have almost every winter. So each spring we stack and re-stack to make it new again.

This is where we started at the beginning of spring and I was discouraged. I knew it could be fixed but the stones are so large and heavy that I wasn't sure I could do it myself. Then, a knight in shining armor said he would take on this job. I was delighted. He worked yesterday and today and he had done an amazing job. I can't tell you how happy we are!!!
And, our baby girl is happy too! He is her best friend and boy friend...what a blessing he is! He started way down there at the road and worked he way up!!! He did an amazing joy without a single complaint! I think we will keep him!

Love love love stone walls. I've tried finding the flat pieces such as in your wall and they are almost impossible to find. Well worth the work! Especially when a good looking young man does it!

I am drawn to rock walls, rock homes and barns. I think your rock wall is wonderful and I hope you can keep it up. What a nice young man for fixing up your wall.
