Project Perfect!

Dear Friends,
A while back when my dd was moving to her new place she told me she needed one of my bookcases. I did not mind that she needed one but I did not like that this old thing had so many cut out heart and her house was just too cute to put this dumb thing in her living room. So I got out my trusty tools, scissors, a dictionary and mod pog.
I started ripping and gluing and covering all those hearts right up.

It actually took much longer than I thought!

But it was looking so cute that I just couldn't stop. I did take it about 2 days to dry because I put a top coat on it so that none of the books would rip the paper loose.

She took it home and wrapped her books in brown paper.
I think she might become a crafter!

Now that is really cute. I thought you would end up painting it but I LOVE the printed look! Then the brown paper book covers just finishes it off!! Free and so perfect! Well done ladies.

Really clever idea. I can see me doing the same using old dress patterns. I don't need to cover hearts just give a book case a new spin. Love it.
