Dear Friends,
I have been painting again but there is even more to tell. I have so much to tell you but let me just begin with this wonderful cabinet I bought. I knew when I found it that it was such a cute cabinet but that it needed some work. I put some things inside and still I knew it wasn't right. The cabinet was sitting in my shed so I knew it I could open the paint and get started. Two days last week we were suppose to have warmer weather and I took that as my chance to paint it and let it dry before the cold set back in...so I mixed some small containers of gray paint that I had on hand and came up with the inside paint. The outside of the cabinet is Woodland Bedroom White from Valspar.
So this is what it looked like before I started.
I mixed the paint and got started..
I know the picture isn't very good but my hands had paint on them.
Here it is drying but with the lighting it is difficult to tell that the outside is white but I do have another picture that shows it better.
Here she is in better light and decorated. There is really more to show but I want to get her moved into my home and then I will show the details. I am more than happy with the way it turned out. And I will share much more as the week continues.
On a side note, I think I caught a cold when I spent two days painting in the shed so I now have no voice a stuffy nose and not feeling so well...but it was worth it!! lol Thanks for joining me on this journey! Something I forgot to mention that I have now started no spend February and I will let you know how I am doing. So far, so good. But remember I still buy necessary groceries!
