Beginnings of a make over and a early Valentines present

A make over is coming to my bathroom...no demo, no painting, just a make over of color and maybe even a little furniture. I will give you a little taste of what is to come.
I know what you are thinking because I was thinking the same thing. I am not a beachy kind of girl. But if you live near a Kohls and you get a chance, take a look at this decor..well..it is a breath of fresh air when it comes to the 30 plus inches of snow we have had so far so...this is just a little of what is to come. I have a very neutral paint color and shower curtain and everything else is white so with just a little effort I can make a big change.
I am still coming up with a plan for the kitchen. Sometimes it is so frustrating when you have a vision for the way you want it to be but you don't get the co operation that you would like to have. I guess that story is for another day but I am still working on some ideas. I will share when I get my thoughts gathered.
I also had a makeover. My sister took me to Merle Norman and we both had a makeover. We laughed until our sides hurt, just too funny. When I got home I took numerous pictures of myself but I could not get a shot that wasn't blurry. Actually, I looked pretty good....lol. I have to stop back tomorrow and if I can get her to take a picture for me then you will get to see the new me!!!
And this is my Valentines day present...blue topaz...I am so sorry that the picture is blurry but I was taking it will my left hand and I was shaky for some reason. It is just beautiful and I picked up the little band to go with it. What do you think?
Well, tomorrow is the day, do you have your presents bought for your love. I got something for each of the girls but I gave it to them already so tomorrow is really no big deal for us. Hope your dreams come true.
