Please...know your history!!!

If it has been a while since you have read the history of the Colonist and the Revolutionary War...get a book from the Library and read it again. I am afraid we have forgotten where we came from...and where we might be going!!!
Please participate by using your vote as a voice in all elections!

"Government big enough to supply everything you need is big enough to take everything you have ... The course of history shows that as a government grows, liberty decreases."

~Thomas Jefferson
author of the Declaration of Independence
and President of the United States

ICAM!!
Great post!!
Ive been thinking alot about this lately also.
I feel everyone is too wraped up in fear of what may happen.
So fearful something bad will happen that they are willing to giveup their freedoms to feel secure.
But it wont work...
In this world we will never be 100% safe. But if we keep going the way we are, the only thing we will accomplish is to also no longer be free!!

Hi Dianntha! Great post. In Australia is it against the law not to vote with a hefty fine or inprisonment if you fail to vote.

Love the new colourful template for your blog, I'm a big fan of pink and black :).

Wishing you a wonderful day sweetie!

There's so much apathy out there when it comes to elections and government. I fear we are going in the wrong direction, but our votes will make a difference.
