A new scarecrow man

Well, sorry it has been a little while since my last post but I have been busy with things that just aren't that interesting. The girls keep me busy with lesson and just plain stuff...teenager stuff...
I have been wanting to try my hand at making this scarecrow for my door so yesterday I started him and today..well he is almost done. he needs a couple of buttons but other than that he is finished. It sure was a lot of gluing ..I do like him but now I'm not sure where I will hang him. For now he is right beside me at the computer.
The days are still pretty warm here and I am ready for a break for all the a/c. We are planning on having a new roof put on the house but boy...what expense that will be.
We are a few weeks for getting our new puppy but we are all excited..even our oldest has started to take an interest. It has been so tough on her to lose her pet so I am hoping that this will begin a new chapter of happy memories.
By the way, the pattern for the scarecrow is from Need'l Love. Be blessed.

How cute your scarecrow is!!! I love scarecrows and the more unique the better. He sure looks like a big fella! :) You did a wonderful job on him!

Have a great evening.

Hi Dianntha....I'm back from a way too long hiatus myself! I've been feverishly crafting because I feel I am sooooo behind....I have done NOTHING but relax and EAT this past Summer and it is starting to show...lol. When I reopen my Etsy shop I'm not going to have anything to put in it...you know what they say about idle hands.

The Scarecrow is CUTE! I have been thinking about putting up some fall decorations here at my house but it's still very warm here too and my flowers are still blooming nicely.

I'm going to try to stay in the swing of things here...

Hugs,
Robin
