Well what a day it has been. I had the day planned. First I was going to decorate the Operation Christmas Child table at the church....done. Next, make a few appointments for Friday..done...Then I remembered that my daughter was having trouble with her Mac so I called that is where is story takes a turn. You see I was going to decorate my front porch today and show you the pictures and I was going to mow the yard and gather the pumpkins. After that I was going to rearrange the furniture in our living room.
One phone call changed my plan. Apple wanted me to take the computers today to get them fixed..ok but that is an hours' drive from my home. So I stopped at Walmart to pick up a few items and I ran into the a friend who said she would ride with me...whooo hooo what great luck that was.
So we fought the traffic and got there 7 minutes late for my appointment (the appointments are 15 min. apart so that means I already had used half of my time.) Once the computers were fixed we decided to checked out some of the other shops. I dropped my friend off and headed home when I remembered that I needed to stop at Lowes and look at carpeting for our rental...oh my. After looking at the carpeting and waiting for a clerk I finally got an estimate for $800. Not bad but I was tired and I still had to check out what dh was doing.
So the yard needs to be mowed, the porch is naked. The pumpkins are still in the pumpkin patch and tomorrow I get to try again. Today was a wonderful day and an example of how sometimes you just have to do the first thing first.
It was a beautiful day for a drive and I took advantage of it...I drove for hours. Tomorrow I will start new and fresh and ready to get a few things done...I have wall paper to strip...yes tomorrow I will start again and see where that leads me. Whimsical day completed.
