Another project in the making..
Looks like there is work ahead...
Today I think I finally found a bargin like some of you find all the time. I was at Lowes and they had yellow tulips on sale for $1.16...but today they were $.78. When I went to pay there were actually $.39. Now for that price I bought 36 if them. When I got home it was so windy that I didn't really want to plant them...but I bit the bullet and did it anyways. I wish I had picked up a few more...here is a look at some of the finishing products.
Hope you have a wonderful day...I mowed the lawn until the blade fell off the mower...then i guess it was time to quit...well maybe I will finish it tomorrow. Be Blessed

I didn't know you could actually plant tulips at that stage! How cool! will they come back the next yr? It was crazy windy here in Michigan too...but I still spent time in my gardens!
We bought about 20 bags of mulch to replace the decomposed stuff....we got it all from the same pallet but when we spread it out it was wet and we didn't see until it dried that it actually 2 different kinds/colors. Oh well...we just went back and spread it around real good so it matched...it was funny though!
I probably won't put any flowers out until Mother's Day...maybe by then there won't be any more danger of a frost! :)
looks great! i would run back and get more for that price. ;)
Love the yellow! I saw their ad for Tulips on the TV but wow the price was almost a GIVE A-WAY! you had a lucky day.
They really look nice along the house.

I love tulips. Yellow is my favorite. I enjoyed your blog.
Your tulips look lovely, Dianntha! And next year they will look even better. Great bargain!
Had to chuckle at this post - I've done the same and had my mower blade fall off too, lol. I'm eagerly awaiting true Spring here in Minnesota, can't wait to see flowers again. Nice to have found your blog, enjoyed my visit.
I got a kick out of this post about you mowing the lawn! Up here in waaay northern Minnesota we still have frost on the ground in the morning and ice in the ponds. No mowing for us yet for quite some time! Enjoy spring!
