Has the decorating started?

I'm excited to see what you've done. I buy 75% of what I use at Goodwill so I figure I can afford to change whenever I want. So I keep my favorites every year and pass on the rest to my kids or back to Goodwill. All my valued Hallmarks that I spent 20 some years collecting are with our only daughter and her family. They love every one. And I gave her all my antique glass balls and ornaments. I know. I rue that fact occasionally but, in the end, I am glad. She treasures them as I always did and she would give me back whatever I wanted. It is hard sometimes but things are changing all over. We have mini trees, some really mini but it is easier to store the stuff and much easier to put it all up and take it down.
Can't wait to see what you are doing and how you plan to change.

Actually, I started yesterday and was wondering if anyone else had. My thought was...why? It's just me and hubby but then I had to remind myself of the grandgirls and how much they like our home. Instead of a different style, why not use what you have in new ways and new places? Can't wait to see pictures. Enjoy the rest of the weekend!
I can't wait to see your photos! We're putting our decorations up next weekend. We don't have any for outside and as much as I would like some we certainly can't afford to buy any. We have quite a lot inside though and I love them.
