These were some of the lights that have been hanging in my kitchen since we bought this house. I almost never use them and they are a big pain to keep clean. Last week I convinced dh to take them down and patch the holes so I can paint the kitchen ceiling. It makes the room look bigger just getting them taken down.
He thinks he is going to use them in is new building, I say good ridence! After I paint the ceiling I will show you the new lights and maybe some paint ideas.

I like your border... are you putting up other lights? My hubby and I were just talking about this same thing kitchen lights and redoing this AM. How funny.
